The “Mobile Micro-Press” contains all the materials needed to make literature, has handles for carrying, and a lid that transforms the plexiglass box into a podium. Near the work table is a statement of intention and a bookshelf of inspiration. First activated during the exhibition “Poetry School” at Grey Noise in 2020, participants gathered for an afternoon to write and publish a collaborative poem. As they worked, they were open to “interruption” from gallery visitors who sometimes contributed language and joined them.
